What is the most important thing you learned during this project?
✦The importance of creating an outline before you start writing. I ended up getting a bit stuck at times when writing my essays for this project. Without structure, I got lost in all my research and didn't know how to tell it properly.✦
What do you wish you had spent more time on or done differently?
✦I wish that I could have found a way to integrate my own art into my project, it would have made getting through the project easier. Alas, that’s the downside of not doing a visual art-based project. I did end up getting to make some stuff for this portfolio on my website which was enjoyable.✦
What part of the project did you do your best work on?
✦Probably my essay on robots in media. I had multiple people read through and give me feedback before I had the final product, which was nice because I tend to get stuck while writing.✦
What was the most enjoyable part of this project?
✦I really enjoyed the research aspect of this project. I enjoyed scouring various corners of the internet and finding different resources and ideas that backed up mine. I especially enjoyed using The Wayback Machine. The Wayback Machine is a platform that allows you to look back on different websites and find things that were posted 20+ years ago.✦
What was the least enjoyable part of this project?
✦Writing takes a lot of energy out of my brain, I'm not much of a word person, more of an image person. Getting the ideas out of my head and onto paper is much harder than I'd like it to be.✦
